Because we are a certified B Corporation, we want to generate a positive impact in the communities we belong, focusing on three areas:
- Inclusive Education: we work towards an education for everybody, without exceptions. In this sense, we support teachers, carry out training programmes, and work with a net of national, regional and international organizations. We support ProEdu, organization that works for the inclusion of boys and girls with disabilities on every level of education. Besides that, we participate in Plan Ceibal facilitating the possibility to learn English to schoolchildrem from all around Uruguay, which guarantees a more equitable and quality education.
- Full and productive employment: we care about the constant professional development of our employees, so we generate training and support oportunities and make sure that the work environment is the best possible so that everyone can develop their abilities to the fullest . Also, taking part in the professional development of hundreds of workers in the public and private sector in different organizations, gives us the possibility to have a positive influence in their professional carreers, genereating better job opportunities. We co-funded D Alliance to help organizations and people develop an inclusive culture that is authentic and sustainable.
- Gender equality: we treat everyone, men and women, in an equitable way without discriminiating. We value people for their virtudes and capacities, regardless of their gender. In our classes we work without referring to gender roles that establish as natural attributes to a particular sex, and show women in leadership positions to break stereotypes. We signed the CEO statement of support for the Women’s Empowerment Principles, a product of collaboration between UNWomen and UN Global Compact to close the gender gap in the labour sector. In this way, we assume the public commitment to align the policies of our company to advance toward gender equality.
